Flexus surface mount component placement machine features an H-drive said to minimize maintenance and increase working surface. Footprint is 25 cm larger than the FLX, with twice the placement space and 30% higher feeder capacity. Can be equipped with up to 240 intelligent cassette feeders or single type feeders at once. Features new software that incorporates MIS software for setup planning, stock management and traceability, and existing feeder and placement programs. Place up to 6,000 cph with automatic fiducial identification, laser and vision centering. It also can place all SMD components from 01005 up to 50x50 mm with component heights varying from 0 to 20 mm.

5R6-900 benchtop unit now has an enhanced laboratory ramp and soak temperature controller. Can be plugged into the wall as a self-contained temperature control system with its own power supply. Ramp and soak controller can be used wherever user is located. Is a solid state MOSFET bidirectional compact unit capable of loading currents up to 10A. Is PC programmable. Ramp and soak controller connects to a computer through the electrically isolated RS232 communications port. PC can be used as a connector; temperature controller can stand alone. Features a digital display for controlling functions, including adjusting output voltage and setting the temperature. Has an auto output shutdown if the sensor is opened or shorted; includes high, low and no alarm settings.

Quality System Manual and the Quality Management System defined in the manual have been revised. Written testing methods remains unchanged, except for document naming conventions. The firm implemented the same manual at the NSL Analytical site and the NSL Metallurgical site, to have one manual across the organization. The quality conversion process was completed.
