GARDEN GROVE, CA — Revco, an industry leader in contract electronic manufacturing with over 40 years of experience, has won this year’s coveted Circuits Assembly 2022 Service Excellence Award. This exclusive award recognizes the industry’s top companies that stay dedicated to excelling in customer service. In addition, it is the only award in the industry that uses direct customer feedback to determine the winners.

Customers were surveyed to determine their satisfaction level across multiple categories, including:

  • Dependability and Timely Delivery
  • Manufacturing Quality
  • Responsiveness to Requests and Changes
  • Technology
  • Flexibility
  • Value for the Price
  • Overall Satisfaction

After tallying and ranking the replies, customers rated Revco as best-in-class in every category. In this unbiased review, several customers raved about the honesty and dependability of the Revco team. “I have personally worked with Revco as a CM/EMS for more than 25 years. Although I have seen a lot of suppliers come and go, Revco has been dependable, attentive, and has demonstrated professionalism and expertise throughout the years. I have consistently relied on them as our primary supplier and could not be happier with the results.” Anonymous Customer

Driven by their customer-centered culture, Revco continued to stay ahead of the curve to ensure their customers were taken care of during pandemic-related material shortages. During the pandemic, Revco weathered the storm of supply chain issues by committing to forecasting and restocking for their valued customers, even absorbing some of the cost themselves.

“We felt that we were ahead of the curve by stocking parts ahead of time. We created long-term blanket orders and absorbed the material cost so that our customers were covered, insulating them from these shortages.” – Greg Gonzales, VP of Business Development at Revco Products

Additionally, Revco was committed to making sure that all of their clients received product to sustain them during these material shortages, rather than merely completing orders for its largest customers.

Revco also considers the quality of their service and manufactured components of the utmost importance, and they routinely reach their target of 98% quality due to this commitment.

“Revco is very proactive and goes above and beyond in validating/QC of our files and notifying us of anomalies that may not be in our best interest to fabricate without a second look. Revco does a great job of partnering and scrubbing our fabrications, parts lists, and placements and when necessary, runs pilots to assure that the first articles are functional before running production volumes. In addition, we have assurances that only the highest quality parts and boards are being used.” Anonymous Customer

Revco has seen outstanding average growth of 10% over the last five years and anticipates continued growth due to their dedication to providing high-quality service. The team at Revco is honored to be the recipient of the prestigious Circuits Assembly Service Excellence Award and will continue to strive to meet the demands of their valued customers.

“Honesty and integrity are important in all aspects of our work at Revco. It’s the way we build confidence and trust in the Revco brand.” David Gonzales, President of Revco Products

HELSINKI — Incap UK is upgrading its machinery at the factory in Newcastle-under-Lyme and adding an automated optical inspection machine with increased maximum PCB load size, angled cameras, Z-axis and full 3D capability.

According to Jamie Maughan, Managing Director of Incap UK, the investment in the new machinery will support the company in its growth and will increase the quality of service provided to its customers.

“Electronic devices get smaller and smarter every day and so do the electronics inside them. This means that the accuracy of our products must be provided on the highest level, in order to eliminate any possible quality defects. We need to follow the trend and the increase in the usage of electronic devices and provide the highest quality no matter how sensitive or detailed products are. That is why we decided to upgrade our machinery and add a new AOI machine that could support us in it,” explained Maughan. He added that the new machinery will be up and running in January 2023.

The MV-3U OMNI Desktop 3D AOI machine purchased by Incap UK is providing 100% compatibility across the 3D AOI product line. According to Maughan, it is suitable for Incap as the company requires a larger maximum PCB load size. The system features specific 3D inspection technology that combines 15-megapixel camera technology with the revolutionary digital tri-frequency 3D system in a cost-effective platform. The 15-megapixel vision system is a proprietary camera system designed for use with its complete product range of 3D inspection systems. With the specific 3D inspection to yield, the precise height measurement data is used to detect lifted components and lifted lead defects as well as solder volume post-reflow. Fully configured, the machine features four 10-megapixel sideview cameras in addition to the 15-megapixel top-down camera and multifunction AOI/SPI inspection capability.

Incap UK is part of Incap Corporation, which is an international contract manufacturer. Electronics manufactured by Incap UK can be found in electric vehicles, medical devices and other areas which are continuing to grow.
