WebLink is a web-browser-based barcode reading interface for MicroHawk barcode reader. Offers intuitive configuration utility for barcode reader setup and control. Can command barcode readers from any web-enabled device. Operator enters IP address of local MicroHawk reader into web browser to gain access to the reader’s settings, enable real-time adjustments, and monitor live decode results. WebLink connects to MicroHawk readers over web protocols. Software and memory are hosted on connected barcode reader. Users have access to reader from any device connected to the same LAN and can switch between control devices. Job files can be saved to external devices. WebLink offers assisted setup function that automatically adjusts reader settings. Through a live feed of images, users can see effects of reader setting adjustments in real time. Interface adjusts to single, multiple, static, moving, omnidirectional, printed, or direct-part-marked codes; can be trained to use ideal combination of decode parameters for target symbol.
