JASPER, IN – Kimball Electronics has acquired Helvoet Polymer Technologies, a Netherlands-based contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) specializing in highly automated micro-molding and precision injection molding for medical applications.

The €90 million ($103 million) acquisition expands Kimball's medical manufacturing footprint in Europe and adds production facilities in India, establishing a broader global medical contract manufacturing platform. Helvoet serves medical customers in the microfluidics, diagnostics and drug delivery markets and generated approximately $56 million in revenue in 2025.

Kimball said the acquisition complements its existing medical business, creates opportunities for vertical integration and positions its Indianapolis manufacturing facility to support growing US demand from Helvoet's customer base. The transaction is expected to be accretive to fiscal 2027 adjusted earnings.
