ATLANTA, CA – Electronic component sales sentiment remained solid in October, but the outlook for November shows a sharp pullback, according to the latest results from ECIA’s Industry Pulse survey.

The October index rose four points from September, reaching 122.2 and marking another month of strong demand across the components supply chain. However, expectations for November dropped dramatically, with the index falling 18.7 points to 103.5.

ECIA chief analyst Dale Ford noted that while some moderation in expectations is typical heading into the final months of the year, the magnitude of the projected decline stands out. He said the survey reflects “the market slamming on the brakes as we approach the end of 2025.”
