SIKAINEN, FINLAND – Scanfil Oyj reported a strong third quarter with turnover reaching approximately $205 million, a 10% increase from the same period last year. Comparable EBITA rose to about $15 million, reflecting a 10% increase.

For the January through September period, turnover totaled roughly $628 million, up 3%, while comparable EBITA reached approximately $44 million. The company reaffirmed its full-year outlook, projecting turnover between $836 million and $986 million and comparable EBITA between $59 million and $73 million.

Growth was led by Americas, up 40%, and APAC, up 33%, with Northern Europe climbing nearly 12%, driven by energy and cleantech demand. Central Europe posted a slight decline as the region prepared for renewed growth in the fourth quarter. Energy & Cleantech customer turnover rose more than 26%, while Medtech & Life Science increased 16 percent with several new long-term agreements signed.

Strategic moves during the quarter included the continued integration of SRXGlobal Pty. Ltd., modernization of the Malaysia plant, and pending acquisitions of ADCO Circuits in the United States and MB Elettronica in Italy. The company was also awarded the EcoVadis Gold sustainability rating and strengthened its supply chain leadership team.
