PATHUMTANI, THAILAND – SVI Public Co. signed a definitive agreement today to acquire 100% equity stake of Tohoku Pioneer (Thailand) for an undisclosed sum.

TPT manufactures mechanical components and has a 15,000 sq. m. production facility.

The acquisition is in line with SVI’s long-term strategy to become a vertically integrated electronics manufacturing service provider.

The transaction is expected to be completed by the end of November.
