SAN JOSE – The Additive Electronics Conference: PCB Scale to IC Scale will take place Oct. 24 here.

Hosted by the SMTA, the conference will examine the manufacturing and design processes enabling line width and space from 0.003" to 5µm, as well as other new advanced technologies intended to meet the ever-increasing challenges of smaller, lighter and more powerful electronic devices.

The technical program will address the need for additive processes in manufacturing, materials and technology available, practical applications, and the financial impact.

Presentations are expected from Averatek, Calumet Electronics, Crane Aerospace and Electronics, MacDermid Alpha Electronics Solutions, NextFlex, and SAT Plating, among other companies.
