SANTA CLARA, CA -- PCB West, the Silicon Valley's largest conference for the printed circuit board industry, opens here Tuesday.

The annual conference and exhibition routinely draws nearly 2,000 attendees in the PCB design, fabrication and assembly industry.

More than 100 companies will exhibit during the sold-out show on Sept. 12. Meanwhile, the three-day technical conference, which begins Sept. 11, features 65 presentations on topics ranging from high-speed design and signal integrity to flex circuits and cutting-edge assembly.

On Sept. 12, "Free Wednesday" includes 15 presentations, including a special two-hour talk by Rick Hartley on Routing & Termination for Control of Signal Integrity. Anyone with an exhibits pass receives free access to the Free Wednesday presentations. There is also a complimentary happy hour on the show floor Wednesday from 5 to 6 p.m. 

All events take place at the Santa Clara Convention Center.
