CHONGQING, CHINA – Foxconn said it has settled a 1,000-worker strike at one of its China factories, and production was not affected.

Workers went on strike on Wednesday, but agreed to return to work four hours later, according to Reuters.

The EMS/ODM did not provide details about the discussions that ended the strike or why it had started.

However, some reports held the strike occurred over pay and overtime after H-P cut orders from the contract assembler.
