SCHAUMBURG, IL — The High-Reliability Cleaning and Conformal Coating Conference is scheduled to take place Nov. 18-20 here.

The conference focuses on best practices and innovative technologies for meeting manufacturing challenges and producing reliable hardware, say conference sponsors IPC and SMTA.

Among the presentations is a cleaning and conformal coating tutorial on conformal coating requirements and standards, workmanship standards and thickness measurements when coating ultra-thin deposited coatings. Speakers include Doug Pauls of Rockwell Collins; Linda Woody of Lockheed Martin; Giancarlo De La Garza of Nordson YesTech, and Amy Hagnauer of Raytheon.
