PLANO, TX -- EMS firm Texatronics has closed its operations here and will auction the equipment, including three SMT lines and two wave soldering lines.

The contract electronics manufacturer had a 50,000 sq. ft. facility in Plano, plus a 20,000 sq. ft. facility in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The company was founded in 1994.

An auction will be held June 21 on behalf of its secured creditors.
