NITRA, SLOVAKIA -- Foxconn Techology Group could add up to 900 workers -- or 30% -- to its television manufacturing plant here, a local media outlet said. 

Foxconn, the trading name of Hon Hai, the world's largest ODM/EMS company, plans to increase annual capacity by 50% to 4.5 million units, the paper said, citing a company spokeswoman.

The site was formerly owned Sony; Foxconn purchased the plant last year.
