TAIPEIHon Hai (Foxconn) reported January revenue of $4.2 billion, up 47.6% year-over-year on higher demand for consumer electronics, cellphones and PCs.

It marked the EMS/ODM’s best quarter in the past 10 years.

Separately, the company, the world’s largest electronics manufacturing services firm, according to the 2009 CIRCUITS ASSEMBLY Top 50, won a Samsung program to build a reported five million LCD TVs. For the year, Foxconn is forecast to build 10 million to 12 million LCD TVs.
