ELK GROVE VILLAGE, IL – Sonoscan president Dr. Lawrence W. Kessler received the Rayleigh Award presented by the Ultrasonics, Ferroelectrics, and Frequency Control Society of the IEEE.
 
IEEE selects one recipient annually on the basis of achievements in research, education, publications, and technical innovations. 
 
Dr. Kessler founded Sonoscan in 1974. The firm develops and manufactures acoustic microscopes and acoustic micro imaging systems.
