TWEEDBANK, SCOTLAND -- Plexus will open a 25,000 sq. ft. manufacturing site here and with a staff of up to 50 once the plant goes live later this year. 

The EMS company's new plant will handle mechatronics assembly and logistics, in support of an existing manufacturing site in Kelso and a design facility in Livingston. It brings Plexus' overall footprint in the UK to 100,000 sq. ft. It is anticipated that the facility will be ready for production next month.
