Stackpole Electronics has released the RNCA Series automotive-grade thin film chip resistors. The AEC-Q200 qualified RNCA Series is manufactured on dedicated production lines with controlled materials and processes to improve electrical stability and environmental resistance. The resistors are engineered to be anti-moisture and anti-sulfur. According to Stackpole, the RNCA Series demonstrates failure rates reduced by a factor of ten or more versus conventional thin film resistors, while maintaining performance across all required automotive qualification tests.
