E-ssembly uses E-cell concept created with Taktomat.

Integrations include floating 2-D product transport system XPlanar from Beckhoff. Each mover and product can be transported separately and independently through individual process stations and cells and positioned with precision. XPlanar can take over axis and robot handling systems. Hovering 2-D product transport and 6° of freedom result in flexibility and efficiency for process steps. XPlanar combines advantages of conventional transport and kinematic systems and supplements them with magnetic levitation technology. Assemblies can be raised and lowered. Modular expandable production E-cell is designed for use of XPLanar. Has repeat accuracy of 10µm. Different assemblies can be processed simultaneously, independent of sequence and station. At a speed of 2m/s, movers transport assemblies in a cycle time-optimized manner from process station to process station. Different process cells can be interconnected.
