San Marcos, CA – May 2026 – Metal Etch Services, Inc. has added Kaveh Faghihi as Quality Production Coordinator, following his recent internship with the company.
Faghihi’s path to the role is a bit different than a typical new hire. He first connected with the Metal Etch team through a workforce training program at MiraCosta College, where the company participated in mock interviews and career preparation sessions. What started as an introduction during that process turned into an internship opportunity—one that quickly led to a full-time position.
The internship itself was part of a broader collaboration with San Diego Workforce Partnership, aimed at helping individuals build technical skills and transition into manufacturing careers.
Faghihi brings more than 10 years of experience across project management, quality, and regulatory-focused roles. Before joining Metal Etch Services, he worked in quality and manufacturing positions with companies including Samtec, Roche, and Cue Health, where he developed hands-on experience in quality systems, data analysis, and production environments.
He initially joined Metal Etch as a Production Technician earlier this year and quickly transitioned into the Quality Production Coordinator role. In his new position, he will focus on supporting quality initiatives, improving production processes, and helping ensure consistent performance across operations.
“I’m excited to step into this role and continue building on what I’ve learned so far,” said Faghihi. “I look forward to contributing to quality and production improvements while being part of the company’s continued growth.”
Metal Etch Services has built its reputation on a combination of technical expertise and customer-focused service. While the team brings decades of experience in stencil and screen manufacturing, the company continues to invest in training, equipment, and process development to keep pace with evolving industry demands.
Hiring Faghihi is one example of that approach—bringing in new talent, developing it internally, and creating opportunities for long-term growth within the organization.
