As in the past years the Hessian flux manufacturer will introduce a new flux at the SMTconnect 2019. As part of the expending development of its product range, Emil Otto will present the alcohol-based fluxing agent EO-B-013, which has been developed especially for power electronics, to the specialised audience.

EO-B-013 is a multiflux with main focus on wave- and selective soldering, based on alcohol with di-carboxylic acids and a synthetic resin complex. The flux can also be used in the dip soldering process as well as for strand tinning in cable manufacture. The flux is applied with the spray flux method. EO-B-013 is a No-Clean Flux with extraordinary properties and outstanding residue behaviour.

EO-B-013 is available in 5 L or more canisters. Other forms of container are possible following consultation with Emil Otto. Emil Otto will present further details about its new EO-B-013 flux at the SMTconnect 2019 in Hall 4A, Booth 144. Tickets for the SMT 2019 can be requested from Emil Otto.
