BluePrint for PCBs Version 1.8 creates
documentation that drives PCB fabrication, assembly and inspection. Delivers a
new ODB++ based interface to Altium Designer. Extends the concept of “rolling
releases”; customers are said to receive a continuous stream of improvements.
Includes advanced visibility controls for components, pins, nets, drills, ref
designators, part names and attributes; extended drill support; side view
modifications; CAD style grid support; explode and side view modifications;
usability enhancements, and software corrections.
The PRO thermal profiling system
features an ultra-miniature datalogger. Is said to be the smallest profiling
datalogger in the industry, measuring 100 x 50 x 9 mm. High-speed USB
connectivity is used. Attaches by way of Smartlink to a range of adapters that
provide between 6 and 16 measurement channels in a variety of configurations.
Is protected by an upgraded heatshield system; makes light work of Pb-free
operation while reportedly maintaining the smallest footprint for carrier-free
operation. When fitted to WaveShuttle, it becomes a wave solder analyzer.
Monitors top and bottom preheat and solder pot temperatures and chip and main
wave contact over multiple points through the wave.
The 4500R and the 5500R vertical lift stencil printers have double-sided board-processing capability. The 4500R print area is 16" x 18". The larger 5500R is air cylinder powered and offers a dual-squeegee shuttle with metal blades. Has a 20" x 22" print area. Both reportedly offer a registration repeatability of ±0.0003". Include self-locking precision X, Y and theta adjustments.
