Has low-volume static mixers. A device coupled to the end of the mixer uses a disposable valve for on/off control of stringy materials; has integrated nozzle cleaning capability for nozzle maintenance without operator intervention. Provides positive displacement technology capable of dispensing fluids with viscosities as low as water up to paste consistency, even with abrasive fillers, and without shearing during operation. VPX units are more of a pump than a valve; combine features of a servo-controlled cavity pump with the sealing capability of a dispensing valve.
