ST. PETERSBURG, FL -- Jabil Circuit today reported fiscal first quarter revenues of $3.38 billion, basically flat versus last year. The company's gross profits slipped to $223.7 million from $239.7 million in the year ago quarter.
ARMONK, NY -- IBM will lay off 5,000 workers in its services divisions in the US, the Wall Street Journal reported today, citing an IBM manager.
PALO ALTO, CA -- Agilent will lay off 2,700 workers as part of a major restructuring of its Electronic Measurement and Test businesses in response to a sustained 30% reduction in demand.
