STAMFORD, CT – NEOTech, a portfolio company of Arkview Capital, has acquired Virtex, expanding its US manufacturing footprint and high-reliability electronics manufacturing capabilities for defense applications. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Virtex operates five US facilities and provides electronics manufacturing services including engineering and testing, supply chain management, printed circuit board assembly, cable and harness assembly, system integration, direct-order fulfillment and aftermarket services.
The combined company will operate 11 facilities and employ more than 2,500 people. The acquisition expands NEOTech's domestic manufacturing capacity and capabilities across the product lifecycle, from design and prototyping through production, fulfillment and lifecycle support.
"This acquisition represents an important step in our strategy to build NEOTech into a large-scale manufacturing partner for our defense customers who rely on us to produce mission-critical products with exceptional quality and technical sophistication," said Pavel Chernyshov, co-founder of Arkview Capital.
The combination also strengthens NEOTech's position in complex, low-to-medium-volume, high-mix electronics manufacturing and provides an ITAR-registered domestic manufacturing footprint.
NEOTech said it plans to continue investing across the combined organization in manufacturing technologies, engineering, quality systems, supply chain capabilities and employee development.
