ELK GROVE VILLAGE, IL -- SigmaTron International has appointed Jim Kircher chief executive officer, effective May 11, as the electronics manufacturing services provider looks to accelerate growth under its new ownership structure.
Kircher brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in contract manufacturing and product design. He joins SigmaTron following its 2025 acquisition by private equity firm Transom Capital Group and will oversee the company's next phase of expansion across its manufacturing operations in North America and Asia.
Most recently, Kircher served as CEO of Norwood Medical, a contract manufacturer focused on the medtech sector. He also serves on the board of Enercon, a medical contract development and manufacturing organization. Previously, he led Libra Industries, overseeing electronics manufacturing services, precision machining and cleanroom assembly operations serving aerospace, defense and semiconductor equipment markets.
Earlier in his career, Kircher held executive leadership positions at Jabil and Flex.
“Jim brings extensive executive leadership experience across the EMS industry,” said Kevin Waddell, operating partner at Transom Capital Group. “Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a strong track record of driving operational excellence while delivering profitable growth.”
Kircher said SigmaTron's manufacturing capabilities, global footprint and customer relationships position the company well for future growth.
