FREMONT, CA -- Wislab EMS has purchased its headquarters and manufacturing facility in Fremont for $61 million, expanding its long-term presence in the Bay Area.

County property records filed May 5 show the electronics manufacturing services provider acquired the 126,000ft² facility at 4211 Starboard Dr. through an all-cash transaction.

Wislab EMS manufactures printed circuit boards and electronics products supporting mission-critical computing and communications applications, including data security encryption, storage, computational acceleration, networking, and wireless broadband systems.

The company said it currently employs at least 125 workers at the Fremont location and is actively hiring for multiple roles, including industrial engineers, quality engineers, procurement coordinators, and mechanical assemblers.
