PATHUMTANI, THAILAND – SVI Public Co.'s board of directors has approved the creation of a subsidiary registered in China, with an initial investment of $100,000.

The new subsidiary's principle businesses will include business development, research & development, technology innovation, sourcing, manufacturing, trading, import & export, sale & distribution and service, the company said in a release.
