TOKYO – UMC Electronics announced fiscal year sales of JPY161.7 billion ($1.15 billion), an increase of 20.2% from its previous fiscal year.

Of the company's three primary segments, its Automotive Equipment segment saw sales of JPY82.1 billion ($584 million), its OA Equipment segment reported sales of JPY46.7 billion ($332 million), and its Industrial Equipment segment saw sales of JPY 31.3 billion ($222 million).

For the coming year, the company forecasts sales of JPY153 billion ($1.01 billion).
