Foxconn Receives Approval to Reopen 2 Plants in India

ANDHRA PRADESH, INDIA – Foxconn has received approval to reopen its phone manufacturing plant here, according to reports.
Foxconn’s Sri City facility has also received approval, but there’s no news about the plant in Sriperumbudur. The highest-selling iPhone XR is being manufactured at Foxconn’s Sriperumbudur facility.
Production is expected to start within the next few days. Foxconn previously halted operations per government guidelines during the Covid-19 lockdown.
