MOUNT PLEASANT, WI – Foxconn’s plans for a nine-story circular structure here were withdrawn, according to reports.

The scrapped plans also included a 34,000 sq. ft. building that would have served as a network operations center.

In addition, a rendering displayed a proposed 10-story building on Foxconn’s manufacturing campus and three more buildings near the operations center: one that would have been 28,700 sq. ft.; a second 87,000 sq. ft.; the third was undetermined.

Foxconn is reportedly exploring other designs but is moving forward with the one-story 260,000 sq. ft. Fii Smart Manufacturing Center. The building is expected to house 300 staff, with growth of up to 500.

Foxconn plans to break ground in mid-October, provided plans are approved.
