FRANKLIN, MA Speedline Technologies reported sales rose 10% sequentially during its fiscal second quarter ended June 30. Sales were up 33% over the second quarter of 2005.

In a press statement, president and chief executive Pierre de Villemejane said, “On the whole, we see positive signs

 

 

everywhere. Printers and wave soldering continue to be the strongest performers, but we have also seen – and this is especially true of this quarter – strong sales of reflow and cleaning systems.” 

The company is privately held and is not required to report sales or profitability figures.
 
Revenues of MPM printers grew 50% year-over-year, while sales of Electrovert soldering equipment rose 42%. 

During the first half Speedline’s sales grew 26% overall, with printers running 40% ahead of last year and soldering equipment sales up 51%. 

“Speedline expects continued sales growth across all product lines, especially as our new products continue to win new market share,” de Villemejane said.
