TAIPEI -- Foxconn reported February sales fell 4.1% year-over-year and 31% sequentially, a drop the world's largest EMS blamed on a fewer number of working days for the month.

The company reported consolidated monthly revenue of NT$277.8 billion ($9.48 billion).

Demand was steady for computers and related devices, partially offset by communications and consumer electronics.

February 2018 included a six-day Lunar New Year holiday.

Year to date sales are up 6.9% to NT$678.4 billion.
