PHILADELPHIA -- ACI Technologies will provide support for the US Navy's Manufacturing Technology program through the ManTech Navy Electronics Manufacturing Center of Excellence under a $99 million, five-year contract.

The ManTech Center develops and deploys electronics manufacturing technology in the US as part of an effort to optimize cost and time spent to transition electronics from industry into Navy and DoD system applications, according to the US Department of Defense.

The Office of Naval Research‘s ManTech program was formed to support the development and transition of manufacturing equipment and systems through centers of excellence that are dedicated to specific areas of technology.

ACI serves as operator of NEMC or the Electronics Manufacturing Productivity Facility and works to provide scientific research that focuses on electronics manufacturing for DoD and industry.
