NEVADA CITY, NV -- The world’s largest EMS providers recorded a new high mark in revenues, up 3.2% in 2015 from the previous year.

The Top 50, as determined by the Manufacturing Market Insider newsletter, industry, had sales of $273 billion, up $8 billion from 2014.

The increase in sales was modest for the top 50 as a whole, MMI said. Individual company growth rates ranged from a gain of 274% percent to a loss of 31%, with the majority exhibiting positive numbers.

The top 10, based on 2015 revenues, were Hon Hai (Foxconn), Pegatron, Flextronics, Jabil, Sanmina, Celestica, New Kinpo Group (Cal-Comp), Wistron, Universal Scientific Industrial and Plexus, MMI said.

CIRCUITS ASSEMBLY will publish its top 50 EMS list in May, after the final data from the Japanese publicly traded companies are made available.
