NATICK, MA and RENTON, WA – Cognex and Microscan Systems have settled on all outstanding litigation between the parties.

The settlement includes a patent cross-license agreement that allows both companies to continue producing current models of their handheld barcode readers.

No financial terms were disclosed.

Cognex designs, develops, manufactures and markets a range of products that incorporate machine vision technology.

Microscan provides technology for data acquisition and control solutions serving automation and OEM applications.
