SVI Sets Q2 Profit Mark

BANGKOK – SVI Public Co. reported second-quarter recorded net profit of $8.6 million, up 44% and a new company record.
The EMS company reported consolidated revenue of $81 million, up 42% from last year on demand for IP video and baseline industrial products.
Gross margin rose on currency changes, offset in part by higher materials costs.
