PI's Sales Up, Profits Down

VANCOUVER -- Micro-tier EMS firm Pacific Insight Electronics swung to a fiscal second-quarter net loss of $166,000, one year after turning in a profit of $23,000.
Sales for the quarter rose 9% from last year to $8.12 million, and are up 23% over the company's fiscal first half ended Dec. 31.
PI designs, manufactures and delivers electronics products and full service solutions to the heavy truck, automotive and specialty markets.
