Northrop Grumman to Expand SLC Manufacturing Plant

SALT LAKE CITY – Northrop Grumman Corp.’s navigation systems division has broken ground on a facility expansion to increase factory output for its commercial, defense and national security customers.
The firm’s facility will be expanded 50,000 sq. ft., to a total of 275,000 sq. ft. The expansion is scheduled to be completed in December.
The site is primarily a production facility for defense and commercial navigation systems, with approximately 750 staff.
