VIENNA – Werner Engelmaier, president of Engelmaier Associates, has received the TGM-Exner-Medal from Technologisches Gewerbe Museum and the Austria Government, just the 14th recipient in the 90-year history of the award.
 
The medal, which was bestowed on April 23, is given every five years. Recipients are honored for accomplishments in their field and presented as examples to students.
 
Engelmaier’s accomplishments relate to the reliability in electronic packaging and interconnection technology during his almost 25 years at Bell Telephone Laboratories and 20 years as industry consultant.
