STOCKHOLM -- NOTE AB, a top 50 EMS company, reported March quarter sales of SEK 329.1 ($38.6 million), down 23% from a year ago.

The net loss was SEK 11.1 million, down from a profit of 11.5 million.

The operating loss was SEK 8.6 million, down from a profit of 13.8 million. The operating margin was -2.6%.

The company burned SEK 15.3 million in cash flow after investments during the quarter.

During the period, NOTE laid off 91 workers in Sweden, or 16% of its workforce.
