Cable Hound wiring aid is for guided build of small cable assemblies.

Two modes are available: Select allows operator to choose wire number (from 1 to 128); device bleeps when selected wire is probed; Identify allows operator to touch any wire for audible and visual guidance, via LCD display, to place wire probed. Can run for many days on internal, replaceable 9v PP9 battery or can be powered by external wall plug power supply with 12v output. Has been tested and is CE marked. External interference, such as 7000v ESD shock test to any external connections is overcome by 30kv protection diodes. Running under 9v DC or 12v DC power means unit is operating below 48v DC max. specified in Low Voltage Directive. Is 220mm x 140mm x 40mm, weighing <0.5kg.
