Benchmark Reports Q3 Revenue Down 12.6%

ANGLETON, TX - EMS provider Benchmark Electronics Inc. said today its third-quarter profit fell on a 12.6% decline in revenue.
The company said its profit fell to $22 million, down about 24% year-over-year.
Revenue fell to $672.6 million, a decrease of about 13% compared to the same period last year.
Benchmark cut its quarterly revenue outlook earlier this month to $670 million to $680 million from a July forecast of $730 million to $770 million.
