BZ-9000 (Biorevo) microscope performs fluorescence, bright field and phase-contrast imaging on a variety of specimen without the need for a darkroom. Is fully motorized; has six-objective lens revolver, motorized stage, electronically controlled filter turret, and built-in sample enclosure. Is able to switch between up to four different fluorescent channels, automatically adjusting the filter and exposure time. Incorporates a single high-res, high-sensitivity 12-bit monochrome camera; can switch to color imaging. Navigation system locates areas of interest when at high-magnification by using a low-magnification image for reference. Incorporates a Z-stack and image stitching function; can stitch up to 1,200 images in XY directions. A quick full focus and Z-stack function captures focused images in seconds. Provides options for quantitative analysis, including standard 2-D measurements, cell counting and brightness analysis. A real-time 3-D module is able to generate a 3-D image of a fluorescent specimen.
