ScanWorks’ FCT (FPGA-controlled test) turns field programmable gate arrays into circuit board testers. Drag-and-drop user interface performs validation, test and debug. Tester can be inserted, prototyped, and then removed. Automates practically all the FCT process. Instruments or instrument functions are selected from a library and matched with a description of one of the supported FPGA devices contained in another library. Automatically generates all of the constructs for the embedded tester, facilitates synthesis of instrument code into the firmware required by FPGA, and creates software image of the tester to program FPGA.
