VarioFlex curtain nozzle is for selective conformal coating processes. Provides application via dispensing, spraying, jetting and curtain casting on-the-fly. Is designed for high-speed and precision applications. Extension arm is 12mm in diameter and 60mm long. “Lacquer curtain” is applied as closed film without spray mist and with precise edge sharpness. Has integrated turning unit; lacquer curtain automatically turns 90° at lacquer program’s request. Internal sensor query supports the applicator’s exact angular positioning (0° and 90°); typical process speeds are 300-800mm/s. Applicator is furnished with PTFE coating. Solvent bath with integrated brushes and fill level monitoring is available. Up to five different parameter sets with beam widths of 3 to 20mm can be retrieved during application of an assembly without having to reinitiate measuring unit.

Allows continuous download of pixel-by-pixel, high-resolution radiometric data. Thermally captures video and ports video data frame-by-frame into MATLAB or LabVIEW software, and monitors it over time, identifying very small temperature changes.

X5TC one-component elastomeric system has a thermal conductivity of 10-12 BTU•in/ft2•hr•°F [1.44-1.73 W/m•K] while maintaining solid electrical insulation properties. No mix adhesive/sealant has a paste-like consistency and is said to be easy to use. Readily cures in 8 to 12 hr. at room temperature or in 60 to 90 min. at 150°F. Bonds to many substrates including metals, glass, composites, ceramics, rubbers and plastics. Suitable for bonding dissimilar substrates and performs when subjected to thermal cycling, vibration and shock. Can be used in aerospace, electronic and specialty OEM applications. Service temperature range -80° to +250°F; can withstand brief exposure to temperatures as high as 350° to 400°F. Good resistance to water and oils. Available for use in ounces, ½ pints and pints containers.
