AP430 fully automatic inline stencil printer can print 01005 chips, µBGAs, and 12-mil ultra-fine-pitch components. SMEMA-compatible conveyor and PCB holder accommodate boards with print areas up to a maximum of 17.75" x 13.75". Quick-change stencil clamp with programmable stopper accepts large frames up to 29" x 29". High-precision ballscrew drives work in unison with the CCD alignment camera to provide X, Y, and Ɵ axis correction for PCB-to-stencil registration within ±0.0003". In the Z-axis, independent ballscrew control of the PCB height and four-corner ballscrew positioning of the stencil frame ensure coplanarity of the stencil and board surface.  After printing, these same four ballscrews maintain perpendicular and uniform separation of stencil from PCB at a programmable speed for print definition for the particular application.  Stroke, speed and pressure of dual squeegees also fully programmable. Print accuracy said to be ±0.001". Automatic stencil wiper runs in wet or dry mode, with or without vacuum; interval, paper feed and solvent injection are fully programmable.

SCU-439 Scanner Unit and FMM-440 Fail Separation Unit read 2D, 3D and RFID codes. Separate failed products from the line immediately after testing or marks them for manual failed product handling. Adjustable machine functionality by modules selected based on current need, e.g. axis (topside, bottom-side, dual, none) or lift (integrated, external or none). Modules can be added or changed later, allowing updates for future needs. New products can be configured offline and imported to a production line machine. SCU-439 sends code data through RS232 or Ethernet to the next process unit that needs the identification. FMM-440 receives product-related PASS/FAIL data from process equipment via an Ethernet connection and saves the information in a local data table.
