Porto, Portugal, May 12th, 2020 -The Critical Manufacturing Execution System (MES) has received the highest scores for three use cases in a recent Gartner report: Critical Capabilities for Manufacturing Executions Systems (February 2020). The report has been produced to help supply chain technology leaders evaluate available MES products based on “14 key differentiating functional capabilities across seven major use cases.”  Out of the seven use cases, Critical Manufacturing is ranked within the highest four scores among five use cases and is also placed highest in three use cases.

Nordson Corporation (NASDAQ-NDSN) today announced that Joseph P. Kelley has been named Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective July 6, 2020. Mr. Kelley succeeds Gregory A. Thaxton, who previously announced his plans to retire. Upon Mr. Kelley’s start date, Mr. Thaxton will become Executive Vice President to the Company until he retires on August 28, 2020.

During the fourth quarter of 2018, NOTE distributed a Press Release about a collaboration with Plejd, a fast-growing Swedish company in the area of ​​smart lighting. NOTE estimated that the collaboration would be worth approximately SEK 30 million at an annual rate, which was also a level established in 2019. So far this year, volumes have developed above expectations with a growth of just over 150% and now Plejd is increasing the rate further. Initiatives have been taken to build a material buffer to ensure further flexibility and growth. The conditions are good that the cooperation with Plejd will develop into one of NOTE's largest business in 2020.
