TAIPEIArima Computer plans to sell its notebook PC and server operations to Flextronics for $191.5 million.

Flextronics will buy assets related to the notebook PC and server business and its unit in China, and all the stakes Arima owns in other units in Japan, Texas, California and Britain, Arima said in a statement.

Both firms are set to sign a formal contract within 45 days; the deal will not affect Arima's relations with its suppliers, customers and banks, the company said.

No other terms were disclosed.
