RICHARDSON, TX ― Automated Circuit Design said first-quarter sales rose 33% year-over-year, reaching their highest mark for the period in the electronics manufacturing services company's history.

ACD is coming off a record-setting 2010, when sales rose 22%. The firm has added 55 employees over the past five quarters.

The privately held company did not disclose its sales, and CIRCUITS ASSEMBLY has no means of verifying the report.

“It is great to see the efforts of ACD and our employees pay off. It is a real testament to have this type of growth during these hard economic hard times,” said W. Scott Fillebrown, president and CEO.
