RICHARDSON, TX ― Automated Circuit Design has completed a 13,500 sq. ft. expansion to its electronics manufacturing services facility here, the company said.

As part of the expansion, ACD added three SMT production lines, giving it a total of five, and doubled its warehouse capacity. The facility additions brings the factory size to 39,500 sq. ft., according to the CIRCUITS ASSEMBLY Directory of EMS Companies.

“This expansion gives us the foundation to meet ongoing demand with plenty of additional capacity to meet our customers’ forecasted requirements,” said president and CEO W. Scott Fillebrown.

The contract assembler also plans to increase its test and develop services.

ACD provides printed circuit board design and assembly services.
